Time to get off the litter box, because there’s a new annoyed animal in town. Grumpy Earl the Puggle is quickly gaining Internet fame for his cranky mug and furrowed brow on Facebook.
His profile reads: “My name is Grumpy Earl. I am a puggle with the face of an 80-year-old man. I hate everyone and everything.”
The page already has thousands of likes and features a series of Earl’s funny memes. “If you’re happy and you know it, I don’t care,” one reads, while another quips, “Life is like a box of chocolates. I can’t eat chocolate.”
Earl has quickly been dubbed “Grumpy Dog” after the Internet sensation “Grumpy Cat,” aka Tardar Sauce, hit the scene in 2012.

Thus far Grumpy Earl and Grumpy Cat have not met nor reached out to each other, but all in good time.
The irritated feline was featured in her own film, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever in 2014 and was voiced by Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza.
