Auriza Hero’s Grave is an Elden Ring dungeon found in the eastern section of Lyndell, the Capital City of the Altus Plateau region, and home to the Crucible Knight Crucible and the Knight Ordovis bosses. Be careful not to confuse this with the Auriza Side Tomb.
The Auriza Hero’s Graves is one of the most challenging dungeons to complete in the game developed by FromSoftware due to the golden chariots that ride around trying to squash you flat. Before getting here, make sure you have one Stonesword Key ready to use on an Imp Statue Seal. In this guide, we’ll teach you where to find the Auriza Hero’s Grave, how to destroy the Chariots, where to find all the items inside, and how to reach the boss room.
Auriza Hero’s Grave can be found on the eastern side of Lyndell, the Capital City of the Altus Plateau region.
To reach the Auriza Hero’s Grave, use the northern Lyndell road to the east side. Pass under the bridge between the cliffs, and you will find the Auriza Hero Grave on the right side.
Once inside, take the lift down and interact with the Site of Grace. An arch doorway blocked by white fog can be found on the left side of an altar. Use the Stonesword Key on the Imp Statue to break the seal, and you’ll encounter two Basilisk enemies inside the room. There is a corpse in the corner of the room that you can loot to obtain the Golden Epitaph weapon.
Then, go down the slope to the right, and you’ll see the first Chariot spawn in front of you.
There will be an opening in the wall to the left about halfway down the slope. Get inside the opening and let the chariot pass. Once it passes you, you need to quickly run down the slope until you reach the first set of pillars and arches. You are safe if you stand directly under this arch. Wait for the Chariot to pass and jump into the space on the right side.
This room is filled with Basilisk enemies, so be careful to dodge the clouds that build up the Instant Death meter to avoid the obvious instant death. Clear all the Basilisks and pick up all the Grave Glovewort on your way.
You will reach an open area ahead, where you will encounter two chariots. Observe how both Chariots move to determine which way to proceed. Run down the slope until you reach the set of pillars at its end, and stand between them to avoid getting hit.
Here is a body hanging by the slope’s edge on the left that you can loot to receive Golden Rune [7]. Use the body as a marker for the exact drop point on the wooden beam.
Drop down the first short plank, then onto the lower, longer plank right beneath it. Then proceed to the perpendicular beam and walk ahead to the north. Drop down one more time and make your way into the area with a statue in the middle of two doorways.
Clear the Basilisks in the area, and you’ll come to find a corpse holding the Vulgar Militia Ashes and a Grave Glovewort [5]. Ignore the ladder on the right as it takes you back to the top, where you dropped down.
Return to the wooden beams and drop down one more level onto the narrow stone arches. Continue on the narrow path until you reach the end. There will be a Skeleton enemy and a ladder in this section.
Once you kill the skeleton, go up the ladder and run down the tunnel. Before exiting the tunnel, wait for the Chariot to pass. When the Chariot has passed, proceed up the ramp outside the tunnel and turn right.
There will be a statue that breathes fire in this room. Hit the statue to lift it, then sacrifice yourself in front of the fire. Retrace your steps after respawning until you reach the ramp with the two chariots. A summoning circle will now appear in the flat area of the slope.
This new Chariot will collide with the two Chariots on this ramp, destroying them permanently, leaving you with Ash of War: Holy Ground and the Tree Sentinel Set as a reward. You can now freely explore the Auriza Hero’s Grave dungeon since the chariots have been destroyed.
On your left, there is a gap where you will find a body that can be looted to find a Stonesword Key and a Ghost Glovewort [6], where a single Skeleton enemy guards the area.
If you want to loot everything, retrace your steps from here until you reach the breathing fire statue (drop down on the wooden beams, onto the stone arch, and climb the ladder). From here, run down the slope until you reach its end and head to the left.
Defeat the two Skeleton enemies at the entrance and proceed ahead to get into a small room with an Ogre staring at a stone statue. Defeat the Ogre and loot the corpse to receive the Crucible Feather Talisman.
Head back and turn right to take the elevator. You will come into another room with a fire-breathing statue. Avoid the fire using the small opening on your right and pick up the 3 x Great Dragonfly Heads from the corpse and the Grave Glovewort [6].
Drop down, kill the Skeleton enemy, and continue north to open the door leading to the boss chamber. Proceed down the steps once you’ve passed the door.
A few Skeleton enemies guard this part, but you should be able to fight and pass through them easily. Beyond the gold mist, you will face the bosses of Auriza Hero’s Grave, the Crucible Knight, and the Crucible Knight Ordovis.
I recommend taking out the Crucible Knight first and then using any of your upgraded or powerful Spirit Ashes. This way, you can fight one boss at a time. Successfully defeating them both, you will receive 28.000 Runes and the Ordovis’s Greatsword, as well as the Crucible Axe Set.
